You know that classic part in Sex in the City when Big and Carrie are apartment hunting. They find *HEAVEN ON PARK* ....until they come to the closet. In Carrie's words, 'Well, we know why they got divorced'.
The apartment they end up moving to, had this for a closet.
By NYC standards, let alone other people's standards, this closet is HUGE.
So that is the movies, so what are closets like in reality when Real Estate home buyers are looking at closets?
The average bedroom closet size is 4 to 6' wide and 2' deep.
This can range GREATLY, depending mostly on the age of the home. If pre-WWII, most likely there are not closets at all and wardrobes were used. Even then, closets were small and usually only for the wealthy.
This got me THINKING (dangerous I know!) about my own closet, and past closets. From dorm life to walk-in to living out a suitcase, my 'closets' have run the gamut of types.
Here is how it works--
A list of what 33 things to keep has been formulated. Modified and formulated again.
I will keep posting so you can see my progress (both good and bad) in my Project333 experiment.
But what I am most excited about is in 3 months....
