I could smell frost in the air last weekend. Could you? Its with mixed emotions; I still have more I could harvest from the garden, but excited for more time to focus on projects in the house rather than out. OHH, but WAIT! I'm walking into the house & I get reminded that my front door lighting is starting to look sad. Its rusting, the glass/plastic is cloudy. And it does not seem to 'fit' with the house. But I live in the country, does lighting really matter.....If you are like me, I am constantly seeking ways to delay addressing the light. Why? Well, when I go out and look TWO THINGS happen: 1) There are SOOOO many choices! 2) I look at the install directions and think, this *might* not be a DIY project I can do (not to mention rerouting wire, the switch currently is in the garage to turn on front door light).
So, now what? Well, I need to: 1) figure out how much this will cost (and save for it!!) 2) focus my search for lighting. Here is a helpful link about Front Entry Lighting. Let my planning begin (and stay focused on just lighting!).
